Social Media Influencer Specialist

The Social Media Influencer Specialist will be responsible for executing social media strategies that engage the company’s consumers, acquire new consumers, bringing them closer to our brand and our products they love. Social Media Influencer Specialist will own day-to-day management of all social media platforms, including planning, scheduling, posting, and analyzing all social content across the platforms. 

Social Media Influencer Specialist will also be responsible for proactive media, blogger and influencer outreach to drive brand awareness, amplify exposure for new product launches/line extensions, as well as entrepreneur and thought leadership profile opportunities. Furthermore, Social Media Influencer Specialist will be responsible with identifying strategic influencer and media partnership opportunities and product seeding to gain brand exposure in print and digital platforms.

  • Manage the day-to-day execution of social media strategy, including scheduling, posting, and community managing on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and other social platforms
  • Build and oversee the content calendar to determine appropriate timeline for posting, engaging and optimizing content specific to each platform
  • Act as community manager across all platforms, promoting positive brand conversation and engagement and addressing complaints per consumer care protocol
  • Promote content through social advertising, monitoring monthly budgeting against ROI
  • Continually evolve social media strategy to align with broader integrated marketing campaigns and goals
  • Work with marketing team to deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly analytical reports to wider team
  • Collaborate with digital content producers to develop and deliver best-in-class digital content including, but not limited to, images, videos, GIFs and more
  • Help develop social media campaigns for new product launches and other marketing initiatives
  • Keep finger on the pulse of social trends, new platform features and best practices, and provide channel and community insights with actionable next steps on an ongoing basis
  • Develop deep understanding and ownership of brand voice and knowledge
  • Moderate the collection, curation and integration of user-generated content on social media and the e-commerce website
  • Manage communications, product seeding and special collaboration with affiliates
  • Recruit affiliates for bigger partnerships
  • Manage top 10 KOL affiliates and communications
  • Manage the email: for daily inquiries
  • Participate on special projects and perform other duties as reasonably assigned

  • Sales and Marketing — Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Communications and Media — Knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods. This includes alternative ways to inform and entertain via written, oral, and visual media
  • Customer and Personal Service — Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction
  • Critical Thinking — Using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • Time Management — Managing one's own time and the time of others

  • Days and hours of work are generally Monday through Friday 9 a.m. to 6.p.m with an hour for lunch
  • This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and filing cabinets
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit
  • More than likely no travel required. However, meeting with vendors may occasionally occur. Travel expected to be <25%

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or institution
  • 3+ years’ experience in a similar role within a consumer packaged goods company 
  • Strong interpersonal skills, ability to develop relationships and communicate with all levels of management
  • PREFERRED: Experience working at a major, high-traffic website or managing large social/digital channels
