We are looking for a passionate Sales Manager to bring Pulumi’s cloud programming model to the world. You will be a part of realizing a vision where every developer can program the cloud.
In this role, you will manage Pulumi’s first dedicated sales team. You will be focused on both the operations of building out a sales organization, as well as mentoring the team, and helping them to find, follow up and close deals. You will hire, actively manage and mentor your team, and play a critical role in our sales success.

This role is in Pulumi’s headquarters in Seattle, WA.
In This Job You Will:
- Hire, actively manage, and mentor our inside sales team, giving clear and attainable goals, metrics and processes to help the team to achieve their milestones.
- Develop and implement sustainable sales processes, using bleeding edge sales technologies that will keep our database current and allow us to follow up with customers appropriately.
- Work seamlessly with our Demand Generation team to successfully manage our pipeline and funnel, keeping Hubspot current and detailed.
- Work with leadership to close major deals, running enterprise accounts as needed.
- Collaborate with our marketing team to make sure sales collateral is what our team needs and provides the information that customers are looking for.
To Be Successful In This Role, You Have:
- Experience managing an inside sales team at an infrastructure start-up.
- Demonstrated abilities to design sales operations processes, and experience with Hubspot.
- A successful sales track record, including at least 3 years of over-achieving target quotas and closing 6 figure deals.
- Understanding of SaaS infrastructure, and experience selling developer products/tools.
- Exemplary written and verbal communication skills at the group, individual and executive level.
