Job Description
As a sales engineer, you'll be responsible for interfacing between potential and current customers of our platform and the sales and account teams. If you love diving into CI/CD lifecycles and discussing code quality with engineering teams from 1 developer to Fortune 500 CIOs, this is the for you.
Responsibilities
- Help close and maintain accounts within the PullRequest platform.
- Collect data on environment and system issues with customers.
- Provide advice to development teams on code quality issues.
Requirements
- A strong background in development practices is required.
- English written and verbal communication skills.
- Self-motivated and self-managing.
Hiring Process
Candidates for this position can generally expect a process similar to below.
- Qualified candidates will receive an email from one of our team members to set up an interview with our CEO (non-technical interview — expect about 30 minutes of time).
- A second interview with our CTO will be scheduled (technical interview — expect about 1 hour).
- Either a group video call if remote or an in person meeting if local to the Austin area (expect 30 minutes).
- Offers will be made over email for successful candidates.
