Inside Sales Representative

Productive Edge is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to our growing team. This role is responsible for identifying, capturing and qualifying opportunities to support the sales funnel and help build a sustainable pipeline. Expectations are that this role will have advanced communication skills to prospects through customized email, social and outbound calling. Additionally, strategic campaign planning is required to ensure each potential prospect is getting the right information. 

Outbound audiences include VP, Directors and C-level executives within marketing and IT.  Having a background in technical sales is critical for success in this role. This role will work directly with our internal sales pursuit team which is responsible for closing opportunities. 

As an Inside Sales Representative at Productive Edge, you will be a member of a high-performing team that delivers software solutions and business transformation results to clients. Your days will normally consist of the following activities:

  • Identifying prospects through outbound email and calling campaigns
  • Ongoing knowledge of company specializations and marketing offers
  • Pitching specialization and offers to prospects (base on their needs)
  • Outbound strategy to grow company and prospect connections
  • Company research to better assist with outbound communication 
  • Leveraging sales tools to find ideal prospects
  • CRM entry and management. (SalesForce knowledge required) 
  • Capturing and qualifying leads from marketing efforts
  • Initial relationship development (meetings) to identify and qualify an opportunity
  • Working with marketing to align on marketing campaigns 
  • Documenting opportunities to present to Productive Edge pursuit team (who is responsible for closing opportunity) 
  • Executive reporting (weekly and monthly) detailing activity and campaign strategy
  • Hitting monthly sales targets (# of qualified opportunities per month) 

To excel in these daily activities, an Inside Sales Representative at Productive Edge would make valuable contributions drawing from the following experience and skills:

  • 4+ years selling technical solutions (consulting background is a plus)
  • Self-managed / metrics-driven mentality
  • Experience using CRM (SalesForce)
  • Ability to speak confidently to C-level executives 
  • High energy, goal-oriented team player
  • Exceptional communication skills (writing and speaking)
  • Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator
