We are hiring an Business Development Specialist with strong agricultural ties and sales experience to cover growers of fruits and vegetables in Baja California.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be accountable for generating top of funnel by finding growers who are interested in our long-term financing offering. We fund growers at the beginning of their growing season to purchase inputs like seed, pay for labor, etc. and growers repay throughout their harvest. ProducePay is the fastest growing source of capital for fresh produce growers in Mexico because our financing does not require fixed assets as collateral and can fund growers much faster compared to banks.
We are looking for superstar salespeople with broad grower networks in their territories, background in agricultural financing, and proven experience in hunting and prospecting new leads.
As a Business Development Specialist, you will be an integral part of our sales team. You must have strong communication skills and effectively interact with potential customers. As the holder of a remote position, you should have excellent time management skills and be a self-starter.
