Head of Partnerships / Management Consultant / Business Development Executive

We are looking for an experienced Head of Partnerships / Business development executive to join us at Price.com to help us build the most comprehensive platform that allows you to seamlessly shop across all marketplaces. 

The BD role at Price.com is suited for someone with 10+ years plus of relationship building in the e-commerce / consumer landscape. Primary responsibilities will be reaching out to companies for data licensing partnerships and establishing relationships with retailers. 

As part of the senior management team, you will report only to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO). You’ll have to maintain control of diverse business operations, so we expect you to be an experienced and efficient leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Identifying new sales leads
  • Pitching products and/or services
  • Maintaining fruitful relationships with existing customers

When it comes to generating leads, day-to-day duties typically include:

  • Researching organisations and individuals online to identify new leads 
  • Contacting potential clients via email or phone to establish rapport
  • Planning and overseeing new marketing initiatives

Other typical duties include:

  • Developing quotes and proposals
  • Negotiating and renegotiating by phone, email, and in person
  • Developing sales goals for the team and ensuring they are met

The skills you need to excel in this position include:

  • Strong communication and IT fluency
  • In-depth knowledge of the industry and its current events
  • Sales, negotiation and closing
