Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic sales professional - someone who is excited to work with nonprofits and educational institutions - to drive sales of implementation services for the Social Impact business unit at Presence. The Account Executive will be responsible for finding, scoping, estimating, proposing, and closing new business as well as account growth from our existing client base. This role is also responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our ecosystem partners and Salesforce.org to help drive joint sales opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Prospect and cultivate leads
- Manage accurate forecast and pipeline tracking in Salesforce
- Lead high-level solution discovery sessions for clients and develop scope and solution approaches
- Manage and own the creation of proposals, presentations, contracts, and other content to support the sales process
- Scope and define innovative Salesforce solutions to meet client needs, in partnership with Director of Technology
- Report on weekly, quarterly, annual sales metrics to the Presence Leadership tea
- Maintain current knowledge of Salesforce and eco-system partners, industry practices, trends and issues.
- Manage and grow existing accounts
- Support the marketing team in definition, planning, and execution of marketing efforts
- Travel as required to prospects and/or marketing events such as conferences
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years technology services sales experience
- Experience driving complex sales: ability to discover and document a client’s unique business environment
- Experience working closely with partners to solicit and qualify leads and to shape and close deals
- Success in finding and leveraging business from new and established relationships
- Professional Services sales required
- Salesforce experience required
- Nonprofit experience preferred
