Vice President, Services

Position Overview: Praetorian is seeking a seasoned executive with a successful track record of leading a high growth professional services team. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for building out our best-in-class professional services team. With a lifetime NPS of 86%, you will have a solid foundation of client success and client satisfaction to build on. 

From software hacking to hardware hacking, we help secure everything from cryptocurrency exchanges and space telescopes to autonomous vehicles and the electric grid. Core responsibilities:
  • Manage objectives and key results of the services organization 
  • Maniacal focus on client satisfaction during service delivery
  • Oversee engagement schedule and resource utilization
  • Manage profitability and loss of the services organization
  • Coach and mentor managers and oversee team's professional growth
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class services team
  • Assist sales in identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Streamline existing core offerings and roll out new service offerings

Accountable for:
  • Service-wide quarterly customer net promoter score objectives and key results
  • Service-wide quarterly existing customer revenue objectives and key results
  • Service-wide quarterly team utilization and gross margin objectives and key results
  • Service-wide quarterly practice improvement objectives and key results
  • Service-wide quarterly team career development objectives and key results
  • Service-wide quarterly team retention objectives and key results

Supports:
  • Marketing in the creation of service collateral for new business and recruiting purposes
  • Sales in identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Recruiting in identifying, recruiting, and interviewing new service candidates 

Required qualifications:
  • 10+ years of experience in the cyber security industry
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Broad and deep understanding of the security industry
  • Prior track record of managing a high growth services organization
  • Experience in organizational design, objective setting, incentive plans
  • Executive level communication skills both written and oral 

Desired qualifications: 
  • BS in computer science, engineering, physics, or mathematics
  • MS in business administration
