Vice President, Sales

Position Overview: Praetorian is seeking a seasoned executive with a successful track record of leading a high growth sales team. As an Inc. Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for building out our best-in-class sales team. With a lifetime NPS of 86%, you will have a solid foundation of client success and client satisfaction to build on. Core responsibilities:
  • Manage objectives and key results of the sales organization
  • Manage quota obtainment of the sales organization
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class sales team
  • Coach and mentor sales reps and oversee team's professional growth
  • Improve sales operational excellence and streamline sales execution
  • Oversee sales organizational structure and incentive compensation plans
  • Implement strategies for increasing service attach rates 
  • Implement strategies for future proofing future revenue
  • Assist sales reps in closing new business opportunities

Accountable for:
  • Sales-wide quarterly bookings objectives and key results

Required qualifications:
  • 10+ years of sales experience
  • 5+ years of management experience
  • Prior track record of successfully managing 50%+ annual growth
  • Prior experience in technology or technology enabled services
  • Prior experience in SaaS software and recurring revenue models 
  • Experience in organizational design, objective setting, and incentive plans
  • Executive level communication skills both written and oral
  • Familiarity with a modern sales tech stack
  • Broad and deep understanding of the security industry
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience

  • Masters in business administration a plus
