Senior Incident Response Engineer

Core responsibilities:
  • Provide technical assistance to the incident response investigations
  • Conduct host, network, log, and malware analysis
  • Reverse engineer malicious binaries
  • Conduct static and behavioral malware analysis
  • Recognize and codify attacker tools, tactics, and procedures
  • Develop scripts, tools, and methodologies to improve investigative process
  • Implement remediation plans in response to incidents

Required qualifications:
  • Prior incident response experience
  • Prior security consulting experience
  • Well versed in modern malware techniques
  • Well versed modern detection and response tools
  • Well versed in enterprise security controls
  • 5+ years of cyber security experience

Desired qualifications:
  • Strong technical and investigative understanding of the incident response process
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • BS in computer science, engineering, or management information systems
  • Background in law enforcement a plus
