Vice President, Services

Position Overview: Praetorian is seeking a seasoned executive with a successful track record of leading a high growth professional services team. As an Inc 500 | 5000, CyberSecurity 500, and Austin Fast 50 Award recipient, we are seeking an individual that understands the professional and personal growth attached to this opportunity and who has the corresponding internal drive to maximize it. 

Reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for building out our best-in-class professional services team. As the VP of Services, you will have the opportunity to work with some of the best security engineers in the world who hail from organizations such as NSA, CIA, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories, Idaho National Laboratories, Redhat, Sun Microsystems, Symantec, McAfee, PwC, Accenture, and Google. With a lifetime NPS of 86%, you will have a solid foundation of client success and client satisfaction to build on.

Core responsibilities:

  • Manage objectives and key results of the services organization
  • Maniacal focus on client satisfaction during service delivery
  • Recruit, develop, and retain a world-class services team
  • Coach and mentor practice managers and oversee team's professional growth
  • Manage profitability and loss of the services organization
  • Assist sales in identifying and closing new business opportunities
  • Oversee engagement schedule and resource utilization

Minimum expectations:

  • Strong leadership, entrepreneurial, and work ethic qualities
  • Experience in organizational design, objective setting, incentive plans
  • Relentless restlessness to improve execution and supporting infrastructure
  • Ability to recognize opportunities and roll out new service offerings
  • Executive level communication skills both written and oral
  • Broad and deep understanding of the security industry

Desired experience:

  • 10+ years experience in an executive level role
  • Prior track record of successfully managing 50%+ annual growth
  • Big Four experience
  • Bachelors in computer science or engineering
  • Masters in business administration
