Bilingual Corporate Recruiter

Wehner Multifamily, LLC. is looking for a Bilingual Corporate Recruiter who is a creative and skilled communicator to aid in the recruitment efforts for our company.  This position will work closely with the HR team to source, evaluate, screen and assist with onboarding candidates.  This is a HIGH-VOLUME recruiting role and will focus on recruiting for our onsite property management staff, including but not limited to maintenance technicians and property office roles.  

What you will do:

  • Conduct fast-paced, high-volume recruitment, primarily for maintenance roles.
  • Utilize telephone, email and texting tool for timely and responsive candidate communication with a large percentage of work day spent on telephone
  • Conduct and review background and reference checks
  • Build networks to source qualified candidates.
  • Perform research, sourcing and screening activities to support Regional Operations and Maintenance Managers using industry best practices and strategies. 
  • Coordinate and/or attend market specific hiring events. 
  • Screen applications / resumes for appropriate skills, credentials, experience and knowledge.
  • Interview in-person and/or via phone to screen for technical and cultural fit.
  • Assist in management of Employee Referral Program.

What You Need for This Job:
  • A minimum of 2+ Years of experience in a high-volume recruiting role
  • Must be Bilingual English / Spanish
  • Proven track record of achieving goals in fast paced environment with short timelines 
  • In-depth knowledge of federal and state laws and employment regulations.
  • Well-developed analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of current HR issues, trends, and best practices.
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships.
  • High level of organization and time management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience with a fast-paced, high volume recruiting environment

What We Would Love to See:
  • Prior experience with applicant tracking system (i.e. iCIMS) software and related internet recruiting portals.
  • Prior experience recruiting for maintenance and/or construction positions
  • Experience using Google Sheets as an organizational tool
  • Proven ability to initiate and effectively implement new processes.
  • BA or BS degree in HR or related field
