Sr. Process Consultant

Clients engage us to help solve their strategic and day-to-day problems. We are therefore looking for a Senior Process Consultant who will support the assessment and analysis of business and operational processes and procedures for a client based in Washington, DC. 

The consultant should have at least 10+ years of experience with guiding and advising organizations through a wide range of management, organizational and business improvement and modernization initiatives by applying continuous process improvement strategies, methodologies and principles. They will,
  • develop business methods for problem solving, process change and solutions implementation ensuring enterprise-wide integration,
  • identify best practices, assesses performance measurement and researches, collects and verifies data and translates it into strategic and operational guidance,
  • provide group facilitation, interviewing, training and other forms of knowledge transfer, and
  • gather and document business requirements and performs operational assessment.
The analysis work will include,
  • business process documentation of the existing (as-is) processes and operations and proposal of future (to-be) processes and operations for both the healthcare and telecom programs,
  • assessment of the current automated systems for compatibility and alignment with business needs,
  • identification of any functional, operational, architectural or other needs and any gaps in the current business process, operations and systems; and
  • recommendation of target business processes, operations and systems and identification of associated benefits.

The position requires executive-level interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills and demonstrated ability to apply analytical skills and substantial experience in solving new problems within well-defined, loosely defined and implicit constraints.

Areas of focus will include but not limited to identifying and eliminating duplication, outsourcing opportunities, streamlining, centralizing, business transformation, business process redesign and modeling, and quality improvement.

Other requirements
Minimum Bachelors degree in relevant discipline.
Experience in business process modeling tools & BPMN.
Experience in healthcare and telecommunications industry a plus.
