Summary of the Role:
PolSource is seeking a proven Sales Leader that can establish a regional presence in the central/midwest territory. This candidate will initially be responsible for expanding business within existing accounts and identifying new accounts via a mix of hunting and driving leads via new/existing
Salesforce.com AE+RVP relationships. While driving new business and establishing a pipeline, candidate will also work to establish a team of 1-2 AE's in the first 12 months (hiring plan to be driven by growth trajectory ). Ideal candidate has sold in the Salesforce ecosystem previously, has sales leadership experience and establishes trusted advisor relationships with their customers.
Responsibilities:
- Meet & Exceed targets & quota (Services Bookings)
- Proactively develop your territory and accounts to meet bookings targets
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Salesforce account executives and their extended teams
- Establish pipeline via existing Salesforce.com relationships, prospecting, and executing marketing events (sponsored events, QBRs, etc)
- Leverage your pre-existing relationships to develop new accounts
- Capitalize on PolSource's existing relationships and reputation to drive incremental business.
- Establish and maintain executive client relationships
- The role will require establishing the foundation for the region and hiring/leading the central sales team:
- First 90 Days
- Actively field core account executive activities (lead followup, scoping, proposal, commercials)
- Work with our Recruiting team to Establish a qualified pipeline of AE candidates
- Accurately forecast and manage your pipeline
- 90 Days & Beyond
- Establish a team in the midwest to support bookings targets (1-2 AE's estimated in the first 12 months)
- Own regional targets & sales forecast rolled up across the team and reported to AMER Sales VP
- Support Direct Reports by participating and leading prospect meetings
- Effectively position why PolSource is uniquely qualified to drive success with customers, prospects, and Salesforce
- Make internal contributions to allow the sales team to scale and build skillsets of the team
Required Skills / Experience:
- 7+ years of services sales experience in an individual contributor and management role, including 3+ years services sales management experience.
- Proven record of sales success in a similar enterprise services environment
- Successful track record in a complex enterprise services sales environment
- Experience establishing a trusted advisor dynamic with your customers & ideally with Salesforce
- Working knowledge/experience of the CRM space
- Excellent presentation and listening skills
- Must be able to thrive in a fast paced environment
- Ability to hire and train new account executives
- Understanding of Salesforce Professional Services implementations
- Bachelor's degree preferred
