The position
Polarity is looking for talented DevOps Engineer, to help develop and enhance our products. If you are looking to join a startup where you will be a critical member of the team working on hard problems we would love to talk to you. Your main responsibilities will be crafting and developing our state of the art memory augmentation platform and helping our company grow.
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Work with development teams to ensure alignment of development needs with infrastructure capacity and capabilities
- Work with the team to plan, manage, and provide systems infrastructure and application support
- Develop and implement operational best practices while maintaining agility
- Maintaining relationships with hosting providers and other suppliers
- Configure new machines and perform various system maintenance tasks
- Automate product platform deployment in various environments
This job is for you if you have:
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years support engineering or system admin experience on Linux or Unix systems
- Demonstrated proficiency with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Node.js or javascript
- Experience with automation/configuration management using Ansible, Puppet, Chef or an equivalent technology
- Deep understanding of scalable computing systems
- Working knowledge/experience with highly distributed virtual environments, networking, s/w build and deployment process
- Experience configuring, automating, and securing AWS is desired
- Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL databases
- Demonstrated proficiency in Linux, hands on and related debugging
