We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join us in this RF revolution, and play a key role in the development and evolution of our RF/wireless technology. Our ideal teammate has strong hands on RF design skills and experience with discrete circuit design, loves to work in the lab and knows their way around the equipment, and has a strong theoretical understanding on RF technologies.
You will:
- Work on challenging high-performance circuits and communication architectures that require determination and an excellent knowledge in RF, IF, receivers, analog, communications and circuit design
- Create novel and patentable additions and improvements to DockOn’s technology.
- Design RF, IF, analog circuits, and communication systems from DC to 6 GHz
- Design both discrete circuits and RFIC, and test and validate in the lab
- Apply development experience in all R&D phases of the product design from help us get our product to market.
Minimum Skills and Experience:
- Masters of Electrical Engineering (or similar)
- Design experience in RF and discrete circuits (board level and system design)
- Strong theoretical background as evidenced by patents, publications, or equivalent
- Prior experience in lab and in simulation environments
Nice-to-haves:
- PhD in Electrical Engineering (or similar) is highly desirable.
- Experience in both RF research and RF product development
- Expert in SPICE, ADS, Cadence, AWR or similar. Matlab desirable
- Excellent wireless communications knowledge, including: digital communications, OFDM, LTE, Wi-Fi 11n/11ac, Bluetooth, ZigBee, Internet of Things knowledge
- Good knowledge of analog modulation/demodulation
- Experience in working in one or more startup companies is highly desirable
