Pok Pok is in need of a new Busser to give us a hand at our original location. Because we try to approach our dining experience in a more comprehensive way, don’t assume that all you’ll be doing is taking away empty dishes and wiping off tables. When you work at Pok Pok, you’re expected to have a hospitality-first mindset, which means you go out of your way to be inviting, helpful and cheerful, whether you’re dealing with guests or coworkers. It can be a demanding job at times, but it’s also very rewarding.
What we need:
o Someone who will create a welcoming environment for our guests, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
o Someone who is humble yet outgoing, confident but still teachable.
o Someone who knows the ins and out of our menu, in order to deliver expert advice to our guests regarding allergens, ingredients and preparation.
What you have:
o A positive attitude that is ultra contagious.
o An intense appreciation of calm and order, especially in the heat of high-stress environments and situations.
o Ideally, you have 1-2 years of recent high-volume restaurant experience and a current Multnomah County Food Handler’s Card.
What we provide:
o Opportunities to learn and take on other responsibilities, so you can grow with our company
o Dining discounts at Pok Pok restaurants as well as the CHEFSTABLE restaurant group
