Pok Pok Restaurants is looking for a Team Member for our new concept, Ping Yang Pow! Our staff are vital in helping us run our restaurant in a clean and efficient way, guiding the dining experience for our guests. Because you will be an integral part of a small team, we expect you to have a hospitality-first mindset, which means you’re always looking for ways to exceed the expectations of both customers and coworkers. If you’ve got an attitude of humility and enthusiasm, you’ll be a great fit with the rest of the team.
What we need:
o Someone who doesn’t let their title define them. Instead, they act with swiftness, thoughtfulness, and helpfulness whenever they see an opportunity.
o Someone who is quick to own up to their mistakes and works well in a team focused environment.
o Someone who will create a welcoming environment for our guests, from the moment they arrive to the moment they leave.
What you have:
o An inquisitive and positive attitude at all times.
o A strong curiosity for our menu and the ingredients we use.
o A desire/ability to assist with daily duties and preparations in the kitchen and dining room.
o A persistent urge to keep things neat and orderly at all times.
o Ideally, you have 2-3 years of recent high-volume restaurant experience and a current Multnomah County Food Handler’s Card/OLCC Card.
