Your Role as Sourcing Recruiter
You will join the Plastiq Recruiting Team in a time of rapid growth, as we move squarely into the SMB space, rebuilding our platform to uniquely fit the needs of our customers. As Plastiq’s inaugural Sourcing Recruiter, you have the opportunity to contribute your experience in Sourcing strategy and execution at the ground-floor level.
You will source candidates for Plastiq’s highest priority requisitions (at the moment: Engineering, Product, Marketing and Sales). You will partner with our Recruiters and the Director of Talent, and have direct access to Hiring Managers and the Leadership Squad. You will also assist in planning and executing recruiting events, both internal and external.
At Plastiq, we view Sourcing as a critical strategic aspect of the recruiting process, so you’ll help build our pipeline reports and have lots of opportunities to train and educate our hiring groups on effective sourcing techniques.
Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, you will be warmly and enthusiastically supported as you develop your skills, so that you can grow in whichever direction you choose: either to go deeper as a Sourcer, or to eventually handle requisitions as a full-cycle Recruiter.

You have 2+ years of experience in Talent Sourcing, with experience sourcing Engineers and/or Product Managers; experience sourcing for GA functions is a huge plus.
You love to source, utilizing best practices for research, outreach, pipeline management, and tracking.
You are accustomed to working in a metrics-driven environment. (You may even have a favorite metric, you recruiting nerd, you!)
You have exceptional relationship-management and customer service skills, and are a master of the fine art of collaboration.
You have notoriously good instincts and can sense when you’ve found the right person for the right team, using your detail-orientation and strategic sensibilities to make that love match happen!
