The role of Senior Designer is responsible for conceptualization and design of graphic applications such as collateral material, environmental graphics, books and magazines, corporate identity, film titling and multimedia interfaces, from concept to completion. Designers applying should also be comfortable with taking the lead on project management and interfacing with clients when required.
In collaboration with a team, develop creative programs and design concepts that meet the business objectives of the organization and that advance our brand strategy. Manage the day-to-day of multiple projects from concept through completion. Participate in the conception and design of projects as needed agency wide. Seek the support and coordination of outside resources (proofreaders, writers, etc.) as needed. Manage and coordinate print and production of finished work as required – ensure projects get delivered on time. Manage the day-to-day project and client relationship. Participate in weekly team meetings. Follow up with teams to ensure project needs are being met.
3-5 years experience in branding/graphic design preferred, involving work in a team dynamic and communicating and interfacing directly with clients. You must have hands-on project management experience. We require exceptional communication skills, especially the ability to verbalize your creative rationales clearly and directly. Experience and knowledge in digital/web/motion design a plus.
