Operations Manager

Our Operations Manager is responsible for running the day-to-day operations of the business and oversee our state of the art custom online ordering & fulfillment system, multiple retail locations, and our production division that creates promotional products, custom apparel & more. The Operations Manager will direct and coordinate the operations of the business including formulating and implementing policies, managing the P & L and ensuring the business runs successfully and efficiently.  The ideal candidate will have experience running a business of similar size, and have the experience/insight to lead and mentor a dynamically growing organization. We are seeking a candidate with the energy and capacity to improve upon the strong existing business and lead the organization through the successful implementation of large new books of business recently signed.

  • Reports directly to Founder & CEO
  • Lead the overall business operations, provide constructive feedback for continuous employee development, and oversee employee productivity.
  • Evaluate and organize the necessary company structure to maintain efficiency and productivity.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure employee performance and satisfaction.
  • Ensure company profitability.
  • Collaborate in long-term business planning at the managerial and executive level.
  • Research and implement new directives for business growth and prosperity.
  • Improve the business processes and foster an overall leadership direction through continuous improvement.
  • Revise and/or formulate policies and promote their implementation.
  • Manage relationships/agreements with internal/external partners/vendors.
  • Evaluate overall performance by gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data and internal KPIs.
  • Regularly evaluate the efficiency of business procedures according to organizational objectives.
  • Oversee customer support processes and organize them to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
  • Analyze ongoing activities, costs, operations forecast data to meet business goals.
  • Monitor and achieve profit, sales and performance goals (i.e. reviewing the P&L).
  • Monitor sales results against budgeted.
  • Conduct store visits & inspections & complete follow-up paperwork
  • Uphold the brand & ensure corporate programs are being implemented at the store level
  • We pride ourselves on being a family company but at times some evenings & weekends may be required
  • Position requires 40-48 hours/week

  • 7 years of Operational experience
  • Detail oriented, hands-on, self-starter
  • Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
  • Outstanding communication and people skills.
  • Strong supervisory/coaching skills required
  • Working knowledge of data analysis and performance/operation metrics.
  • Time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a timely manner required
  • Basic understanding of accounting processes – POs, invoices, etc.
  • Familiarity with MS Office and various business software (e.g. ERP, CRM).
  • Management of multiple locations preferred
  • Retail experience preferred
  • Start up experience a plus
