Pex helps creators to understand why content goes viral, and gives artists control over the use of their work. Our technology is extremely complex and operates on an unusually large scale. With hundreds of incoming resumes and very few engineers actually qualified for the challenging positions we offer, we are looking for a highly motivated technical recruiter that can find the best candidates and help us constitute and grow a stellar team.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and be able to clearly articulate both Pex business and technology stack
- Source active and passive candidates through hacker news, networking, referral generation, internet searches, and alternative techniques to attract top talent
- Work with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and team fit
- Own full recruitment process including interview, feedback and offer process
- Create a diverse candidate pipeline
- Represent the company with integrity and professionalism
Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience in technical talent sourcing
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Exceptional attention detail, organizational skills, and follow-through
- Experience using AngelList, Hacker News and LinkedIn to source candidates
- Successful track record identifying and qualifying extraordinary engineering talent
- An interest in / understanding of technical infrastructure and programming would be a big plus
