What we are looking for 

We are looking for a leader to champion our Bolton Honda. You will helm a dedicated team with the dynamism needed as a New Car Sales Manager. You bring a proven track record to develop and lead a passionate, guest-focused sales team that brings repeat business through our doors by the development of strong relationships that exceeds guests’ expectations. Reporting to the General Manager, you hold the keys in overseeing and mentoring your team in driving success. 


Ready to perform? Here’s what you’ll deliver:

  • Assistance to the General Manager in planning, forecasting and achieving goals and objectives for the new car sales department
  • Assistance in planning, directing and evaluating the new car department
  • Maintain accountability for profitability and guest satisfaction levels of the new car department
  • Assistance with hiring, training and retention of top talent 
  • Motivation and development of a committed team that provides exceptional guest experience, led by your example
  • Setting and management of achievement monthly team and individual performance targets.
  • Guest inquiries and resolutions in a professional manner.
  • Maintaining CSI levels to company and manufacturers standards.
  • Modelling and Championing organizational values
  • Reinforcing and adhering to company policies and government legislation
  • Managing compliance with Provincial/Territorial, Local and Federal regulations
  • Other related duties as required

You champion success with these accomplishments:

  • 3-5+ years retail automotive sales management experience
  • Previous sales experience with Honda/Acura considered an asset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in successfully leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent organizational, strategic, planning and implementation skills
  • Proven skills to interact effectively with employees in order to direct workflow, assess performance and assign duties
  • Well-defined sense of diplomacy, including solid negotiation, conflict resolution, and people management skills
  • Ability to learn and adapt to DMS tools quickly
  • OMVIC Certification, required
  • Previous experience with CDK, 180, V-Auto, and Dealer CRM system experience considered an asset
  • Professional, responsive, and positive work attitude is essential
  • Valid Ontario Class G Driver’s License with good driving record
  • Comfort with highly variable, performance-oriented pay plan
