Web Developer (Performance Auto Group)

Performance Auto Group is seeking a full-time permanent Web Developer to join their dynamic Merchandising team in Brampton.

Our Digital Marketing Coordinators support the regional marketing teams by taking primary responsibility for our web presence across all dealerships, and providing additional digital marketing support to the Marketing Strategists
 
This is a highly collaborative position, similar to working in a web role at a creative agency. Team members contribute their energy and ideas to campaigns, and devote their particular area of expertise to the execution. 

Our ideal Digital Marketing Coordinator is on top of industry trends, organized and thorough with content management, has light front-end web programming skills, is proficient with research and reporting tools, and is a creative thinker who can find unique solutions to marketing issues. 

Job Responsibilities:
The Digital Marketing Coordinator takes responsibility for the following key functions: 
  • Leads the ongoing evolution of our dealership websites, which includes taking ownership of content, developing campaign landing pages, and contributing JavaScript code and CSS where needed
  • Ensures web content is up to date, search engine friendly, correctly targeted and optimized for multiple devices
  • Assists with the development and execution of digital marketing campaigns, working with other team members to execute
  • Prepares tracking codes and manages pixels 
  • Actively engages with analytics and reporting tools to drive improvements to campaign and overall website metrics
  • Assists with the preparation and execution of email campaigns 
  • Assists with the development of targeted customer lists using our in-house software 
  • Actively participates in team meetings to better integrate marketing opportunities, and make recommendations to improve the look and feel of projects
  • Other duties as assigned 

Job Requirements: 
  • Undergraduate degree in a related field or significant directly related experience
  • 3- 5 years of experience in a similar role is preferred
  • Automotive knowledge/ experience is considered an asset
  • Savvy and up-to-date with current digital marketing practices
  • Excellent foundation in HTML5, PHP CSS, JavaScript languages, and expertise in UX design
  • Experience working with web development platforms/ content management software
  • Proficiency and understanding of Google Webmaster tools
  • Experience with Google Analytics and other tracking and reporting tools
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Driven yet collaborative - works well in an engaged, busy team environment.Proactive, organized, and results driven
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of local SEO is an asset
