The Role

Perch is looking for a Director of Sales Operations to join a high-performing team. The ideal candidate is passionate and dedicated to driving key metrics for the business and making data driven decisions. This person strives at balancing strategic planning with execution and has a very “hands on” approach.

This well-rounded leader also excels in driving cross-department projects and managing competing priorities to drive results. 

As a scrappy problem solver and self-starter, the ideal candidate will use data and qualitative information to drive and optimize customer acquisition and experience for Perch. This person should have experience in planning and building financial models, analyzing complex data sets, and improving our processes and tools.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the trusted advisor and sales operations lead to Perch’s sales leadership. 
  • Create and evaluate business problems, design and implement actionable recommendations, and track success metrics.
  • Drive operational efficiency by leveraging and designing processes, forecasting, and reporting improvements to scale our high-growth business.
  • Own and revamp end-to-end sales process to increase productivity (e.g., tooling implementation, analytics, reporting, documentation).
  • Develop compensation models and provide statistical analysis.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of sales strategy & operations experience (MBA a plus)
  • Strategic, structured thinker. Strong analytical skills and business acumen.
  • Aptitude for framing business decisions with data, translating business needs into strategies, and executing tactics and process improvements
  • Ability and passion to analyze, set priorities, and solve complex problems effectively and consistently
  • Effective, clear, and concise communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to communicate the right level of information to executives and cross-functional teams at the right cadence
  • Results-driven self-starter with the ability to multi-task. Strong initiative and ability to work in a self-directed environment with a “can do” attitude and growth mindset
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while dealing with ambiguity
  • Strong sense of craftsmanship and detail-oriented with a knack for organization
  • Proficient in Excel, Salesforce, Looker
