Quality Control Analyst

Accountable for capturing and driving defects to root-cause, ensuring our customized web-based products and processes are “client ready”.  This will include reviewing and comparing documents, data tables, websites, spreadsheets, and PowerPoint presentations for accuracy, consistency and any other defect.

 

Responsibilities:  
  • Ensure quality of product - the primary function of this position is to employ both quality control techniques and quality assurance practices to ensure utmost quality in our highly customized web-based products.
  • Develop, administer and maintain in-process quality checklists.
  • Requires facilitation of teams focused on root-cause analysis.
  • Help develop and maintain key quality control metrics.
  • Involved in 1-on-1 and team training.
  • Works with other organizations to align best practices, utilizing collaborative approach in support of our Quality Culture.
  • Develop and execute custom quality plans and validations based on technical specifications.

Job Requirements/Qualifications
  • 5+ years applied experience as a Quality Control Analyst, or equivalent, in a technology company.
  • Experience testing web-based applications.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel including the use of advanced Excel Functions.
  • Strong process orientation; attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Project management, and implementation skills.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with stakeholders of varying levels of expertise.
  • Ability to translate defects into business impacts, compliance risk, procedures and process changes and user needs.
  • MySQL and database experience a plus.
