Account Executive

We are looking for talented Account Executives. You will help make a difference at PeopleGrove and drive growth by attracting and acquiring partnerships with the leading universities.

RESPONSIBLITIES:
  • Prospect into target accounts across higher education.  Work closely with the SDR team to source qualified meetings, using email, phone, and social media outreach tactics.
  • Learn PeopleGrove’s unique value proposition and work consultatively with qualified prospects and customers to tailor solutions to meet to their organization and student needs. Serve as an expert advisor to universities on student services and academic support.
  • Deliver demos and presentations virtually and in-person to key constituents.  Work with multiple decision-makers and influencers within larger universities.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate pricing, and close business.  
  • Achieve all individual activity and revenue targets.  
  • Maintain updated records in CRM.  Work collaboratively with CS and Product to share customer and prospect feedback and contribute to product development.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Minimum 2+ years previous closing sales experience (preferably experience in SaaS).
  • Background in more consultative sales to director and VP level buyers across multiple institutions or business units
  • Experience in higher education is a plus.  Interest in higher education and mission-driven focus on student opportunity for personalized success teams is a must.
  • Demonstrated track record at opening new business relationships with mid-sized and larger institutions and / or businesses.
  • Willingness to travel for onsite presentations and trade shows / conferences.
  • Persistent -- you are accountable for your own activity and success
  • Appreciate a challenge and like to grow and tackle new things each day
