We are seeking an experienced recruiter with the skills to recruit for tech roles for our IT department.  Our ideal candidate is a self-starter and has excellent communication skills.  Our collaborative environment relies heavily on innovation, technical savvy, and problem-solving skills.

This is a semi-remote position in the Tribeca Neighborhood in Lower Manhattan, NY.

Job Duties:
  • Acting as liaison between candidates and company throughout the entire recruitment process
  • Ability to seek candidates who has specific skills for the position such as programming skills or technical expertise
  • Managing active and passive candidate pipelines as well as keep continuous contact with them
  • Attracting and reach out candidates individually to raise their interest about the open position
  • Ability to present the company values, work processes, methodologies and position details to prospect candidates
  • Navigating candidates over job details and managing candidate demands 
  • Screen and pre-screen applicants based on job requirements and qualifications as well as checking to ensure a good fit company culture
  • Managing hiring managers demands and expectations
  • Arranging interviews between candidates and hiring managers 
  • Making sure that all candidates are quickly notified about hiring decision and received feedback about their performance on interviews or trial tests
  • Creating short lists of candidates and recommendations for hiring managers about prospective candidates
  • Offering the position to chosen candidates and explaining the compensation package as well as negotiating over salary and other benefits
  • Closing the deal, helping candidates with contracting and initial onboarding 
  • Ability to implement technical expertise and knowledge to fully understand the nature of the jobs and requirements
  • Evaluating applicants, and discussing results with hiring managers
  • Creating candidate summaries and detailed Interview profiles
  • Talk the talk with prospective candidates, answer their questions, and determining qualifications that match 


Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelors in Human Resource Management or Psychology or Economics (Technical major is highly welcome) 
  • Experience in mass recruiting IT professionals
  • Experience enticing candidates to work for the company/position you represent
  • Experience in filling both in-house, contract and remote positions
  • High experience with Linkedin Recruiter and other sourcing tools
  • Experience with Skype/Slack
  • Extensive use of search engines and internet
  • Experience closing the deal and contracting with candidates
  • Knowledge of alternative candidate sources
  • Experience working with cross-cultural teams and remotely as well
  • Experience recruiting for technical positions
  • Precision and high administration and follow-up 

  • Knowledge of IT job market
    • Knowledge about current programming languages used in the tech industry
    • Up-to-date knowledge about the recent IT industry and IT job market changes
    • Ability to manage multiple hiring projects at a time
    • Ability to manage multiple hiring manager demands at a time
    • Ability to manage multiple candidate interests and application processes
