Job Summary
Responsible for the operation and maintenance of the building ensuring that all systems are operated to standard, all property assets are constantly maintained to the highest level and all legally mandated Life Safety operating systems/criteria are adhered to by all. Additional responsibilities include preparation of all required reports and following up on tasks given by their Supervisor.

« Works diligently to ensure highest quality workmanship and production
« Perform preventive maintenance activities when mandated
« Handle work lists, prioritization of tasks, and work assignments so as to insure timely and efficient completion of all operations
« Assists in the establishment and implementation of Life Safety and other emergency related procedures
« Ensures maintenance of records of all maintenance/repairs performed as required by their supervisor
« Ensures that all work is performed in a safe, efficient manner and that the quality of same meets standard
« Monitors energy consumption/rates, so as to attain optimal operating cost/efficiency
« Attends all meetings scheduled by their Supervisor
« Maintains open communications with all departments so as to insure timely response to operational needs
« Keeps all departments appraised of any maintenance related operations which might affect operations
« Oversees activities of all outside contractors performing maintenance/repair/renovation operations to facility/fixed assets
« Performs all maintenance tasks according to hotel standards
« Follows new hire training and on-going competency programs in accordance with hotel policy
« Determines areas where improvement is needed, establishes weekly personal goals and objectives
