    Summary
    The Technology Sourcing Contractor negotiates business partnerships by leveraging market intelligence and your own experience as a sourcing and/or legal professional. You’ll navigate across the Company to negotiate hardware, software, and services contracts and renewals of up to $500K in value per contract. Candidates will be responsible for executing on high-volumes of transactional work by working independently in ambiguous environments. A sense urgency, attention to detail, and a collaborative work ethic is essential. •Improve purchasing compliance to IT procurement policy and category strategy •Reduce cycle time on IT hardware and enterprise software order fulfillment•Identify additional savings opportunities •Reduce amount of time Gap employees spend in placing, tracking IT Hardware and Enterprise software orders This contract position is not a temp to hire role; however, candidates may apply for full time roles with the team as they become available and where the candidate’s performance and abilities merit consideration for such roles. Tenure policy limits this to a twelve-month contract position, unless an exception is granted according to Gap policy. 
     
    Roles & Responsibilities
    Meet or exceed Sourcing Department’s performance targets in hardware, software, and services contracts. •Leverage data-driven interpretations and key financial data in order to negotiate and close high volumes of technology contracts •Demonstrate learning agility by quickly coming up to speed on new or unfamiliar technologies with the aim of successfully negotiating a contract and/or renewal. •Thrive in ambiguity while navigating across the organization as a negotiator.•Interact with all organizational levels and demonstrate a professional presence 
     
     
    Minimum Qualifications
    •1-3 years of professional experience in management consulting, strategic sourcing, law, or supply chain – including experience working on software, SaaS, hardware, and services contracts. •Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related discipline; MBA, JD, or advanced degree advantageous, but not required. • Understanding of supplier base, market trends, pricing models and contract structures •Risk and financial modeling skills •Project management experience and Proficient in MS Office Suite •Excellent planning and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask and maintain performance by adapting to change Demonstrated skill in planning and leading negotiations Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills Ability to •A "can-do" approach with demonstrated high-levels of motivation 
     
    Ideal Required skills:
     Ideally 1-3 years of exp- closer to 3, have already worked in a professional environment- 1 year at least in sourcing org Technology- will be doing software, hardware, and services- majority 80% software , 15% hardware, 5% services…. SAAS is a plus, software deals (adobe, oracle, ibm) familiar with contractional terms that govern software agreement Ability to ask the correct questions, get details, and negotiated the contract,
