Junior Business System Analyst-Desktop Support

Notes:  An in-person interview will be required before a final hire is made. Resumes should be no longer than 3 pages. This position is for an onsite position in Madison, WI. Please bring three (3) business references to an interview. The selected candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check. This position is budgeted for 1960 hours annually. Hours will be prorated the first year based on start date. Does not sponsor work visas, either at the time of hire or at any later date.
 
Role:                     Junior Business System Analyst-Desktop Support
Location:              Madison, WI
Interview:             2-year contract
Rate:                     $25 to $28/hr 
 
The primary function of this position is to work with end users on resolving issues, develop user documentation, and perform user acceptance testing for the BRITS system. This person will be the primary point of contact for system issues, and responsible for troubleshooting issues and either solving the problem or directing the issue to the appropriate place to be solved.
 
Essential Job Duties:
•             Review and quickly gain thorough understanding of existing legacy (homegrown, mainframe based) applications.
•             Collaborate with SME’s and quickly gain thorough understanding of how business processes work.
•             Prepare thorough, comprehensive, easy to understand documentation including user manuals, process diagrams, and other documents as needed.
•             Collaborate with team members and research/document resolutions to issues.
•             Responsible for support of BRITS web-based application and escalation of policy issues and technical issues to the appropriate channels.
•             Other responsibilities include project work, troubleshooting and resolution of issues efficiently; identify areas of improvement, testing and special projects as required.

•             Business Process Improvement – Demonstrated experience in analyzing complex business processes and recommending automated process improvements.
