We are currently accepting resumes for a Lead - Quality and Operations Support in Torrance, CA.
The selected candidate will perform the following duties:
- Navigate relationships and facilitate intra- and inter-team collaboration, including managed services and 3rd party suppliers, to ensure timely resolution of customer issues and system incidents
- Identify opportunities and set direction for continuous service improvement
- Maintain and drive Ops team focus on 'Customer' vs. 'system'
- Lead and manage Sustain projects such as Disaster Recovery
- Develop roadmap and execute plans for improved monitoring, automation etc.
- Responsible for overseeing the Production Support, Operations and Infrastructure areas within the Solutions Delivery and Operations department of the Connected Product Solutions Division
- Work closely with the comparable areas within the Global Client’s organization: R&D in Japan and North America, Canadian Honda business units ,as well as managing vendor suppliers
- Supporting the direction and vision of Telematics and Connected products
- Managing/setting the vision for the Production Support, Operations and Infrastructure teams
- Governance of these teams and driving delivery management of QA/Prod Support/Infrastructure/Ops services
Required Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 10-12 years of IT work and/or Product development and maintenance experience
- 5-8 years supervisory experience
- 3-5 years of experience managing professionals leading teams and groups and vendors
- 5-10 years of project management (including Operations Management )
- 5-8 years of technology management experience
- 2-3 years of managing outsourced/offsite vendors
- 2-3 years of Telematics/Connected Vehicle or Consumer Electronics/IoT experience
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience working with a Business and business-supporting teams such as Procurement, Legal
- Experience working with Solution Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure teams
- Technical understanding of mobile, web, Java and services-based solutions
- Managing the support and projects through a partner and an in house team
- Planning and managing Operations and enhancements post deployment
- Manage ecosystem partners
- Experience defining and managing E2E Service Levels for consumer facing applications
