Full Job Description for Job 1: Sr. Dev Ops Engineer

Responsibilities
• Provide DevOps technical leadership, experience, and expertise throughout all tasks
• Responsible for day to day operations of all in-house developed, open source, and commercial DevOps tooling owned by the team
• Ensure system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events and problems
• Work on AWS tools and services to build next generation automated CICD tools and pipelines.
• Ensure CICD tool implementations are based on Configuration-as-Code and Pipeline-as- Code strategies
• Responsible for integrating and maintaining Code Analysis and Code Security tools across multi-stage CICD platform
• Assist integrating and supporting performance and load testing tools across multi-stage CICD
Platform
Extensive knowledge on containerization using docker and multi-stage docker builds
• Automate AWS implementations for new cloud computing systems or existing systems migrating to cloud architectures
• Ensure security is integrated into all solutions developed.
• Mentor other members of the engineering team
Skills
Required
• Advanced knowledge on cloud native CICD tools AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline
• Advanced knowledge on IaC using AWS CloudFormation
• Advanced knowledge on packaging and running applications as docker containers
• Advanced knowledge on AWS ECS managing multi-cluster container environments
• Advanced knowledge on application security tools Checkmarx and Veracode
• Advanced knowledge on application deployment strategies i.e. Blue-green, canary and rolling
• Advanced knowledge on application monitoring/logging tools New Relic/ELK
• Intermediate knowledge on static/dynamic code analysis tool SonarQube
• Intermediate knowledge on python/nodejs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred
• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional
• Experience in nonrelational databases Cassandra/Solr, AWS DynamoDB
• Experience with Identity Management tools Okta or Auth0
• Experience with Container Security tools Aqua, Sysdig or Twistlock
Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• The expected length of relevant prior experience beyond formal education is 7 or more years
• Verified AWS Certification with validity of 1 year or more
