Rate:                     $60/hr to $72/hr C2C 
- Experience with an MRP system desired; Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS R12) is preferred 
•             Minimum 5 years of planning and/or management experience required;10+ years experience desired 
•             He is not flexible with someone who has to take off for religious holidays on the weekends. 
•             This person may be on call to complete projects on a weekend. 
•             Location:  San Clemente, CA
•             Spending the year doing enhancements and getting company up to speed.
•             Putting in a new GOP, Warehouse sytems. 
•             Got rid of Salesforce and Hyperion so everything in Oracle.
•             Emphasis on manufacturing, logistics, HR, etc
•             Looking for someone in a regulated environment 
 
The Senior IT Project Manager, PMO will be responsible for managing one or more (frequently non-related) projects simultaneously, consistently and accurately reporting the health of the project(s) through all stages of the project life cycle, and proactively taking appropriate action to help ensure project success. As a part of the IT department, this position will report to the Director, IT Project Management Office (PMO), and includes working with other employees both within IT and from the business across all levels of the organization. Work shall be performed in accordance with the ICU Project Management Framework (PMF). 
Essential Duties & Responsibilities 
• Plan the Project(s) 
• Define the scope of each project in collaboration with senior management 
• Create detailed work plans that identify and sequence activities needed to successfully complete projects 
• Determine the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) required to complete each project 
• Develop schedules for project completion that effectively allocates required resources to the activities 
• Review the project schedules with senior management and all other staff that may be affected by project activities; revise the schedules as required 
• Determine the objectives and measures upon which each project will be evaluated at its completion Staff the Project(s)
• In consultation with management, recruit and select staff with appropriate skills for project activities 
• Contract qualified consultants to work on project(s) as appropriate Implement the Project(s) 
• Execute project(s) according to approved project plan(s) 
• Develop forms and records to document project activities 
• Set up files to ensure that all project information is appropriately documented and secured 
• Monitor the progress of project(s) and make adjustments as necessary to ensure the successful completion of the project(s) 
• Establish a communication schedule to update stakeholders, including appropriate staff, in the organization on the progress of the project(s)
• Review the quality of the work completed with the project team(s) on a regular basis to ensure that it meets project and corporate standards 
• Calculate estimates to complete (ETC) for both time and cost for projects and key work streams Control the Project(s) 
• Write reports on the project(s) for management and for stakeholders 
• Monitor budget and expenditures and report variance to senior management on a regular basis 
• Manage all project funds according to established accounting policies and procedures 
• Ensure that all financial records for the project(s) are up to date 
• Ensure proper handover of responsibilities, documentation, vendor exit protocol, and other activities before projects are officially closed Evaluate the Project(s) 
• Ensure that project deliverables are on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality 
• Evaluate the outcomes of the project(s) as established during the planning phase Knowledge, Skills & Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of Project Management methodologies and how to apply them 
• Familiar with design control concepts 
• Familiar with manufacturing processes and equipment 
• Strong organizational skills and a high level of attention to detail 
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize key business objectives and respond quickly to changing priorities 
• Ability to work in a team environment and positively influence others 
• Ability to multitask, manage multiple simultaneous projects, and work in a fast-paced environment 
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, budget tracking, Visio, and Outlook is required 
• Proficient in simple accounting and data base management Education And Experience
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required 
• Minimum 5 years of planning and/or management experience required;10+ years experience desired 
• PMP, Prince2, or equivalent Certification highly desired; CSM/ACP desired 
• Experience with benchmarking desired 
• Experience in Enterprise or Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Planview, Primavera) desired 
• Experience managing projects related to IT Infrastructure desired 
• Experience managing projects related to IT Operations desired 
• Experience managing projects related to full-life cycle IT Applications development desired 
• Experience working in a waterfall systems development lifecycle methodology required 
• Experience working in a (hybrid) agile development lifecycle desired 
• Experience managing merger and acquisition (M&A) projects desired 
• Experience with an MRP system desired; Oracle eBusiness Suite (EBS R12) is preferred 
• Experience working in an FDA regulated environment desired Minimum Qualifications
