This role
This is your opportunity to be the finance leader for PayJoy Mexico. You will oversee the FP&A operation for our Financing and Licensing business in Latin America. The successful candidate will understand the business and help set processes that will enable us to scale, anticipating issues and thinking ahead of what will be needed to support business growth. This person will report to the VP of Finance in San Francisco, CA and work closely with the team in Mexico.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate annual and long range plans, and publish monthly reporting of KPIs and financials against these plans.
- Perform quarterly and monthly forecasting.
- Manage expense budgets for LATAM.
- Set financial processes to support PayJoy Mexico in scaling. Coordinate with operations team, business development team and accounting team to achieve this.
- Manage treasury function, including set right controls for payments and wire transfers.
- Help with month end close and partner reconciliation.
- Perform financial profitability analysis of products.
- Develop business cases and expected profitability for all initiatives done in Mexico and LATAM.
- Help Mexico Country manager with cash flow and debt management.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Engineering, Economics or related studies.
- 3-5 years financial experience in FP&A.
- Demonstrated ability in driving forecasts and budgeting processes.
- Understand accounting principles and US GAAP.
- Strong problem solver and critical thinker.
- Ability to clearly synthesis and communicate financial terms to senior leaders.
- Fluent in English and Spanish.
- Advanced knowledge of excel and other data analysis software.
Desirable Qualifications
- Investment Banking or strategy consulting.
- Fintech or tech experience.
- SQL.
