This role
PayJoy is looking for an HR Analyst to help with our local HR needs and create a warm and welcoming office environment. The human resource analyst is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level and working closely with senior HR management in supporting designated geographic regions. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: benefits administration, employee relations, on-boarding, recruitment for some roles, affirmative action, and employment law compliance. We are also looking for someone who will be responsible for our office management, including ordering supplies and being the main point of contact for any maintenance needs.
Responsibilities
- Act as an HR representative in the Mexico office, working closely with the Mexico HR Manager to implement programs and procedures.
- Assists in the implementation of local personnel policies and procedures; updates the employee handbook for the local employees.
- Coordinates local recruiting efforts; conducts new-employee orientations.
- Participates in revision and improvement of approaches, policies, and procedures.
- Manage all office related subjects.
- Help with local invoices and payments.
- Order and restock supplies and snacks.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years working in HR as a generalist
- Bachelor degree
- Experience in startups or globally-dispersed companies a plus
- Ability to adapt to a fast-growing company and coordinate with HR colleagues around the world
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Fluent English
