This role
PayJoy is hiring a Commercial Manager in Mexico who will help us scale and grow PayJoy’s point of sale phone finance business in Mexico. The right candidate will be a self-driven, ambitious and analytical leader looking to have a big impact at a fast growing startup. The right candidate will also be deeply motivated by PayJoy’s mission to empower the next billion smartphone users.
As the Commercial manager you will be responsible to plan and develop the commercial strategy that will allow us to achieve our sales budget based on data-driven and actionable strategies. You will work closely with our partners, sales, operations, engineering and marketing leaders as the expert in providing input on market needs to achieve sustainable growth.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and develop the commercial strategy that allows the company to achieve expected growth
- Find and develop relationships with new commercial partners
- Maintain and promote long-term business relationships with existing partners, in order to increase market share
- Use analytical insights to increase effectiveness against key strategic goals
- Develop dashboards with key commercial indicators to help us understand our sales force effectiveness and key opportunities in the market.
- Develop monthly forecast for new and existing partners, same store sales, expected growth
Qualifications:
- 5 years of commercial management experience in the Telecom industry
- Experience building commercial strategy, sales administration and budget management
- Strong written and communication skills. Including ability to synthesize and present key results to the management team
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as same store sales, forecasting, probability and statistics.
- Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
- Ability to use tools like SQL is a plus
