Head of Customer Growth

Position Overview:
As the Head of Customer Growth, your goal will be to help our customers grow their Amazon business. 

One of the most important initiatives at Payability in 2018 is to provide additional services that help our customers grow. The expectation is that you will lead this initiative for Payability, driving the strategy and execution in coordination with both the customer service and marketing teams. Examples of potential initiatives might be: Providing custom advice and suggestions to customers, making connections to consultants and agencies and negotiation of discounts from inventory sources and software providers. 

Importantly, this is not a Client Service role. This role will report to the Chief Marketing Officer and be responsible for working with our customers to help them grow their Amazon business in a complementary way to their use of Payability as a financing solution.

The initial stages of this role will require substantial “non-scalable” efforts such as working individually with our customers and partners. Over time, we expect these efforts to become more scalable by productizing and automating these services based on your learnings and guidance. This could include (but are not necessarily limited to) customer education programs, additional products/services, low-touch partnerships and improvements to our current product offering.

  • 6 to 8+ years experience 
  • Experience working within the Amazon 3rd party seller ecosystem
  • Intrinsically motivated to help small businesses grow
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills 
  • Ability to think outside the box, execute on your great ideas and provide value for Payability customers
  • Is technically proficient and has an eye for great product design and automation
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
