If you’re early in your marketing career and you’re looking for a crash course in marketing at a fast-growing tech company, this might be the perfect opportunity for you! PathFactory is hiring an ambitious Marketing Coordinator to join one of the top B2B marketing teams in the biz.
As PathFactory’s new Marketing Coordinator, you’ll lead the execution of the company’s events, social media, and PR strategy, while also supporting key initiatives in demand generation and content marketing. You’ll also work closely with customer marketing, product marketing, sales, and customer experience teams on cross-functional projects that span the customer lifecycle.
You’re our ideal candidate for this role if you’re interested in a career in marketing, but perhaps you aren’t sure where to specialize (yet) and you want to gain experience in a broad cross-section of marketing activities first. You thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a bias toward action, you’re resourceful, and you’re always coming up with fresh, creative ideas. You’re super organized and you love crossing tasks off your to-do list. Sound like you? Keep reading!
Here’s what you’ll be doing as PathFactory’s Marketing Coordinator:
- Executing PathFactory’s event strategy from start to finish, from co-ordinating sponsorship details with conference organizers to managing all promotional activities before, during and after the event, including but not limited to social media posts, email campaigns, PathFactory’s presence at the event, list processing, etc.
- Managing PathFactory’s presence on all social media channels, and supporting colleagues in social selling and employee advocacy initiatives
- Expanding PathFactory’s share of voice in the market by identifying, pitching, and coordinating PR opportunities, such as media interviews, podcast appearances, award applications, etc.
- Coordinating live virtual events, such as panels and webinars, featuring influencers, partners, and customers (check out similar events we’ve done in the past: The Great Gate Debate and The Channel Panel)
- Contributing to content creation when needed, such as email copy, blog posts and videos
- Collaborating closely with the rest of the marketing team to achieve key objectives that support PathFactory’s brand and revenue goals
What we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- A demonstrated interest in marketing, either through relevant work, co-op/internship, volunteer, or extra-curricular experience
- A positive, can-do attitude – even if you don’t know how to do everything we’re asking you to do today, you’re excited to learn and figure it out with the help of your manager and peers on the team
- The ability to meet deadlines and balance a number of competing priorities at the same time
- A strong attention to detail – someone who has a penchant for crossing all the t’s, dotting all the i’s, and not letting things fall between the cracks
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A post-secondary degree or diploma
