Reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing (who spent most of her career as a content marketer!) and working with talented professionals across the organization, PathFactory’s Content Marketing Specialist will play an integral role in executing the company’s content strategy. In this role, you will be a versatile Jack/Jill-of-all-trades, tackling everything from blog posts, to videos, to sales presentations, and everything in between.
Key roles and responsibilities:
- Take ownership of quarterly content goals
- Collaborate with salespeople and executives to create compelling presentation decks
- Research, report, interview, write, and/or edit blog posts and other content, such as eBooks, case studies, research reports, press releases, guest blog posts, social media posts, etc.
- Produce a variety of content formats ranging from the written word to video to infographics to PowerPoint presentations.
- Ideate and create content that will entice sharing, drive traffic, attract links and new readers, increase share of voice, and help drive qualified leads.
- Leverage internal and external experts and influencers to create engaging, informative, and useful content.
- Work with blog contributors and continue to build our roster of writers.
- Identify, repurpose, reuse, and recycle high-performing content.
- Publish content directly to the web using PathFactory and WordPress.
- Some travel may be required to attend and cover events.
You should apply if you:
- You have at least 1 year of experience in a content marketing role.
- Are passionate about telling stories, love to create content, and want to do it every single day.
- Think you’re a better writer than most people (but you’re still modest enough to admit that you have room to improve and you want to learn from the best).
- Have previous reporting, writing, editing and/or content marketing experience.
- Have some marketing savvy, but you’re interested in learning more. A lot more.
- Can share examples of your work (ideally before and after editing).
- Are a highly motivated self-starter who can multitask, prioritize, and respond to changing work activities on tight deadlines.
- Have a proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues across the organization.
- Can adapt and succeed within a fast-paced, high-performance culture.

The position is located in downtown Toronto.
