We’re a small team (11 to be exact) that is looking to upend the trillion-dollar international parcel shipping industry. To build the modern DHL, we’ll need to build a world-class experience. We want consumers abroad to beat down the doors of merchants and say, “I love your product, but I’m not buying it until you ship with Passport.”

We’re hiring an Account Executive to help us achieve our mission of building the most beloved international shipping brand. You'll provide a consultative approach to every sale and work with each client to determine their business's needs and aspirations, because we only succeed when we help our clients grow their businesses. Success in this role takes a deep customer focus and is measured by hitting (and exceeding) monthly sales goals, staying ahead of daily metrics, and handling rejection in stride, all in a team-focused environment. In this position, you will…

  • Own and manage a pipeline of clients of digitally native brands, as well as 3PLs
  • Consult, educate, strategize, and successfully sell Passport’s shipping solution through a high volume of sales calls - strong communication and tenacity are key
  • Become an authority in providing consultative sales, understanding Passport’s product mix and technical abilities, and adapting product recommendations quickly to suit client needs. Asking probing questions and handling objections will be critical to your success
  • Achieve and consistently exceed monthly sales goals

  • 2-3+ years full-cycle sales experience with a consistent track record of success selling in a B2B environment 
  • Top quartile performance in your role
  • You have the ability to develop and manage a sales pipeline and sales process with a proven track record of handling and closing a large number of transactions simultaneously
  • You're proactively able to identify and generate leads and opportunities without dependence on inbound leads
  • You have a passion for delighting customers
  • Clear and confident communication skills at all levels - no fear of the phone
  • A fast pace! We talk in terms of days, not quarters. You thrive in a work environment that is often ambiguous and constantly evolving 
  • Experience serving in a startup or on a team that created something from scratch
  • Previous experience at a major international shipping carrier a plus
  • A reputation as a self starter
  • A sense of humor -- we take our work seriously but, you know, want to have fun too
  • Must be able to work legally in the US
