Sage/X3 Administrator

ParkUSA has over 35 years of industry leading experience in water technology.  We specialize in providing solutions for environmental challenges in wastewater, stormwater, domestic and fire protection. The company is in search of an experienced professional to fill the position of Sage Business Cloud Enterprise Management Administrator. The ideal candidate will have a thorough understanding of the manufacturing environment and supply chain functions along with the ability to translate real world problems to system-based solutions.  The candidate should also possess business analytical skills and will work with the business process owners to evaluate requirements, recommend process improvements and configure the ERP solution. You will be hands-on throughout the implementation of the business solution, and you will collaborate to maintain a high level of business, systems and product understanding together with a third-party consulting team. Ideally, this individual has previous exposure to Sage X3 and other similar ERP systems and software, accounting software, MRP, etc. 

PURPOSE

This individual will be the main contact point for implementation and various post-live and maintenance procedures necessary. They will advise on best practices for the effective and efficient use of said ERP, while simultaneously becoming a subject matter expert in the content and tools necessary to maintain and maximize its capabilities. Thus, individual will be accountable for the overall health of the Company’s ERP footprint, along with our third-party managed service provider. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

This individual will occupy a key role on supporting the implementation of the new system through to post-live optimization and maintenance. 

·         Work effectively within and across ERP/Finance/HR business operations and IT teams to execute projects and roadmap items 

  • Present alternative BI solutions, using creative-thinking expertise and solution prototypes, to ensure effective reporting/analysis.
  • Provide technical and subject matter expertise to project teams involved in the development of implementation and test plans associated with complex application upgrades and implementations.
  • Systems testing and error resolution by troubleshooting issues and assisting with support.
  • Assisting with planning and conducting training classes for end users.
  • Proactively manage relationship between external and internal stakeholders.
  • Perform risk assessments to develop response strategies.
  • Provide guidance during the detailed design, build, test and deploy phases
  • With an in-depth understanding of the data, make suggestions which result in meaningful outcomes based on the findings and criteria of the users.
  • Develop requirements for automated monitoring tools.
  • Advance excel skills 

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management Information Systems or related Business Process Management discipline, Computer Science, Engineering or related field. Consideration for equivalent combination of education and work experience within Information Systems or Manufacturing.
  • Proven experience supporting cross-functional teams
  • IT infrastructure / systems management experience preferred (2+ years)
  • Manufacturing / shop floor experience preferred.
  • Has several full cycle ERP deployments experience. 

  • Project planning and management skills, including exposure to making operational decisions, monitoring progress, taking corrective action and reporting results
  • Excellent written and verbal communication/presentation skills
  • Experience in manufacturing practices is highly desirable.
