WHO ARE YOU
You are an expert in writing and editing high-quality content, including copy for graphics, scripts for videos, and marketing information. You’ll work with the Programming, Product, Marketing, Industry Sales, and Provider teams to identify and drive health literacy for patients at the point of care. As the Content Editor, it’s essential that you can take input from various internal stakeholders and collaborate with various leaders in identifying key areas for content development. This will include sourcing information from content partners, writing copy for internally-produced content, and reviewing the existing library for relevance, accuracy, and effectiveness.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a field with a strong emphasis on writing and communication
- 2+ years of experience as an editor or writer; preferably for a digital publisher (healthcare space a plus)
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Data-driven approach to problem solving and decision making
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills
- High level of personal initiative and the ability to work without close supervision
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite a plus
- Familiarity with Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems a plus
Functions:
- Reviewing, approving, and selecting multimedia content for quality and relevance to topics (primarily medical).
- Writing and editing copy for editorial and marketing content, reviewing and giving useful feedback on creatives throughout the process.
- Writing and editing effective, accurate, and actionable copy about health topics including specific clinical areas (e.g. rheumatology, gastroenterology, oncology).
- Collaborating daily with internal and external production teams to ensure creative processes are moving forward with the highest quality.
- Assisting the content team in defining and driving content strategy and making editorial decisions, escalating as appropriate.
