Who We Are: 
Otherland is a digitally-native home fragrance brand launched in December 2017 with their flagship product, candles. Otherland takes a visual-first approach to overcome the challenges of selling scent online. By working with different artists to tell stories for each new collection edition, the candle is elevated to be an experiential, consumable objet d'art. It's the intersection of self-care meets home care. 
 
What You'll Do: 
The Director of Growth is responsible for designing and executing Otherland’s acquisition strategy. The Director will lead and champion a test and learn approach - that will evolve to a multi-channel acquisition plan that is both predictable and scalable over time.

Responsibilities
●      Manage all acquisition marketing programs including search, social, referral and influencer programs - and eventually app acquisition
●      Drive CPA and LTV analysis and optimization across all marketing efforts to track ROAS and identify areas for new investment - working closely with CRM counterpart
●      Lead landing page and email capture optimization with Product and Creative team
●      Manage acquisition budget including agencies, tools or consultants
●      Help prioritize product/tech optimization efforts and track key funnel metrics 
●      Work closely with Product Development & Creative team to develop data-driven insights that shape both merchandise and creative decisions
●      Build customer-centric acquisition performance reporting to share across functional areas

Qualifications:
●      At least 5 years experience in an early-stage growth marketing role, including at least 3 years in an e-commerce, direct-to-consumer role
●      Experience managing and leading a small internal team and/or agency to drive acquisition
●      Experience working directly with search and social native platforms or software to drive new customer acquisition
●      Following current trends and best acquisition practices to identify new ways to implement learnings
●      Focus on acquisition details while always maintaining sense of brand and Trade’s strategic objectives
●      Strong analytical and reporting background around campaign optimization
 Experience managing and allocating budgets 
●      Strong capabilities around understanding CPA, Attribution, Cohort analysis and LTV
●      Passion for candles and home fragrance a plus
