Must hold a current Top Secret SCI Clearance for work in the DC Metro area, with CI Polygraph preferred.
- The candidate will work exclusively on imaging machines, migrating user profile, installing customer requested applications and deploying the device as per the schedule.
- Test and Deploy Windows 10 Image on supported laptop and desktop including setting up printers and other peripherals.
- Have an understanding and troubleshooting experience in LAN and WAN networks and COMSEC technologies used for desktop networks
- Keep track of all Windows 10 issues from patches, features, deployment, permissions on the Project site and ticketing system
- Install requested application/s on the user machine
- Work directly with customer pre- and post-deployment to resolve any issues pertaining to the migration process
Recommended Skills / Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or Associates Degree
- 5 years experience supporting help desk Tier 1, Tier 2 or Tier 3 operations,
- 4 years experience in Windows 7 to Windows 10 operating system
- 4 years experience in LAN network troubleshooting, including ability to identify/isolate desktop issues relating to VPNs, firewalls, DNS, etc.
- 4 years experience with Desktop Image creation/deployment process
- 4 years experience in Microsoft products such as Active Directory, Office, SharePoint, Outlook.
- 4 years experience Software and hardware troubleshooting to resolve issues arising due to Windows 10 Operating system
- Minimum of 4 years experience in providing technical support for microcomputer hardware, networks, account administration, and office automation software
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
- IAT Level II baseline certification in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program
- Certified as a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) or equivalent
- Excellent people skills, and strong problem-solving skills.
