We are hiring a creative Presentation Specialist who will be responsible for developing powerful presentations with top-notch execution to support the infrastructure organization. We are looking for a designer and innovator who can create meaningful motion graphics using PowerPoint and Keynote.
Responsibilities:
- Design presentations for internal company-wide and external events using company branding guidelines
- Create original graphic content for slides for a wide variety of audiences
- Attend meetings with stakeholders to find graphic solutions to complex problems
- Collaborate and work with additional presentation team members to manage workloads and workflow for large-scale projects
- Coordinate with off-site A/V personnel regarding technical requirements for sound, lighting, and presentations as needed
- Contribute to the innovative development of the Creative Services team
- Develop and conduct training for the organization, on how to build presentations that address a targeted audience
- Establish and organize a Infrastructure and SOE collateral library for a self-service guidance to the organization, regarding building effective presentations
- Design marketing materials such as print collateral and websites as needed
- Support the development of diverse project’s related documents (process flows, training, communications), based on Subject Matter Experts inputs
- Inform SXC’s design and evolution with up-to-date knowledge of design.
- Provide quality assurance of all deliverables
- Engage with other internal teams (Legal and Communication) to gain required approval on content for external events
The ideal candidate must have the following skills and capabilities:
- Strong presentation design portfolio demonstrating expert level in PowerPoint (Mac/PC 2011+) and Keynote (6.6.1) including use of multiple masters, color themes, animations, actions, and video
- Professional customer service experience working with a wide variety of customers/stakeholders with diverse technical backgrounds
- Proven aptitude for quick creative thinking with acute attention to detail within demanding deadlines
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to think creatively and justify concepts to stakeholders and team members
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to work flexible hours if required to support critical deadline
- Well-developed communication skills with attention to details
- Able to understand the communication objectives from leaders, develop a proposal/framework on how to create the communication plan and produce the communication deliverable
- Understanding of and experience in corporate branding, logo design, layout, color theory and typography in both digital and print media
- Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
- Understanding of the strengths and limitations of presentation technology including aspect ratios, projectors, sound, and video equipment
- Understanding of image formats, resolution, and size
- Video experience a plus, but not required
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator, After Effects is a plus).
- Proven experience in delivering training to a diverse audience, in the “effective presentations” subject matter
- Experience in guiding speakers with basic public speaking skills (nice to have)
Educational and Experience requirements:
- 4-year degree
- At least 5 years of production experience at a commercial multimedia or video production company or internal corporate media production environment
Additional requirements:
- Submit a portfolio that clearly demonstrates presentation and multimedia work
Additional Responsibilities:
- Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team building efforts.
- Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
- Contribute content and collaborate via the OP Knowledge Base.
- Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
