Seeking an experienced Sr. Salesforce Administrator/Developer to join our Enterprise Application team. You should be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and customer friendly. You will be required to work closely with Product Owners of Sales and Delivery teams and understand their business needs and be able to support them on a day to day basis.

The Salesforce Administrator and Developer will administer system user set ups and permissions, perform general system maintenance, code, configure and develop software as directed by the Program Manager (including configuration of Salesforce functionality) and attend meetings and complete tasks as directed by the Project Manager.

The Salesforce Administrator and Developer will operate within the Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework as it is implemented. This includes facilitating daily stand-ups, backlog grooming with the team and Product Manager, Sprint Planning (including team retrospectives), and demonstration of completed user stories to Product Manager and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Competent understanding of general sales/marketing concepts to effectively communicate and work with the business partners and translate their wants into needs.
  • User administration, profile/role creation&management.
  • Proficient with administration (fields, page layouts, record types and profile management).
  • Full understanding of Standard Objects&Functionality.
  • Ability to create and maintain Reports&Dashboards.
  • Creation and maintenance of Workflows/Approvals/Alerts.
  • Competent knowledge of Apex&Visual force and knowing their capabilities. 
  • Ability to develop triggers, custom classes, Workflows and Validation rules.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into functional requirements.
  • Ability to write test cases, test scripts and manage user acceptance test cycles.
  • Writes positive and negative smoke and regression test scripts to test product functionality and integration with dependencies
  • Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated Unit Test Cases, Test Stubs and Drivers, and other Development test objects
  • Tests APIs, user interfaces, web services and/or web applications 
  • Participates in test automation code reviews
  • Collaborates with Salesforce team to build, evolve, and maintain a scalable continuous build and deployment pipeline.
  • Collaborate and assist SF team on Steel Brick CPQ configuration and improvements.

Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of hands-on Admin/Developer experience.
  • Salesforce platform capabilities based on the requirements or similar items as prioritized (as indicated therein) from Customer project stakeholders.
  • Completing project objectives requires Customer’s timeliness in requirement gathering, providing necessary product supporting documents, Salesforce environment access, solution template population, data collection/load, data validation and general availability of Customer resources.
  • Adhere to stated timelines and release planning cadence (PI Planning), and to work on and deliver projects/tasks as identified by the Project Manager, pursuant to timelines set forth by the Project Manager and in alignment with quarterly objectives.
  • Hands on experience in at least one of the following testing activities: functionality testing, performance testing, automation testing, security testing
  • Experience in Steel Brick CPQ.
  • Experience with Marketing Tools like Pardot, Marketo etc. along with DocuSign
  • Direct hands-on experience in Salesforce.com platform is required (Lightning preferred).
  • Hands-on experience with Visual flows, Process Builder, Sandbox refresh.
  • Must be competent in writing SOQL/SOSL queries and navigate around workbench.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC methodology.
  • Proficient with Workflow & Data Import/Management.

Strengths:
  • Knowledge of other development environments including Java, .NET, HTML.
  • Completed SFDC projects that encompassed all major knowledge sectors (Administration, Apex, and Visualforce). 

Additional Responsibilities:
  • Participate in OrangePeople monthly team meetings, and participate in team building efforts.
  • Contribute to OrangePeople technical discussions, peer reviews, etc.
  • Contribute content and collaborate via the OP-Wiki/Knowledge Base. 
  • Provide status reports to OP Account Management as requested
