Revenue Operations Manager

We are a tight-knit tech startup looking to hire a full-time Revenue / Sales Operations Manager to join our growing team here in beautiful Westwood, CA (our Los Angeles HQ near UCLA).

Our ideal candidate will support every facet of UpKeep's CRM, Salesforce.com with a high attention to detail, effective communication skills, and willingness to learn. We are looking for someone who is highly systems focused.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Manage and own Salesforce as the system of record and design workflows across all departments
    •  Proactively identify Salesforce automation opportunities including 3rd party solutions and recommend process improvements to drive operational efficiency
    • Oversee management of Salesforce data, fields and processes to ensure system integrity
    • Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (Product, Operations, Marketing, Sales, Finance and Technology) to understand business needs and identify solutions to enable the business to scale
    • Track the health of the business and build an early warning system that can identify upsells or customers who are at risk
    • Support the user adoption of Salesforce by providing training materials and being the go-to subject matter expert
    • Provide necessary reports to help Finance collect open AR balance

  • Own Sales commission processing
    • Using SFDC and internal documents, calculate and verify monthly and quarterly commissions payments, resolve discrepancies with sales management, and provide results to payroll providers for processing
    • Create sales compensation models for analysis and perform ad hoc reporting

  • Resolve and track issues / inquiries from Sales as they arise and address root cause problems. Consult with the other internal teams to adjust billing timely and accurately to customer accounts
    • Review Sales related agreements to set up Sales orders properly, consistent with company policies
    • Identify any non-standard contract term to ensure appropriate revenue recognition

Requirements:

  • SFDC experience is required
  • Bachelor's degree 
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales Ops, Marketing Ops, or Rev Ops at a SaaS company.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills for data mining (with high volume transactions)
  • Excellent computer skills with MS Office software, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; and Independently take ownership to manage assigned tasks
