Product Manager


About us:

Oncora Medical is a fast-growing, venture-backed healthtech startup in Philadelphia, PA. We are building software that is revolutionizing the way doctors treat cancer with radiation. Our product is a data-focused clinical decision support system for radiation oncologists. We integrate data from existing clinical software tools, train predictive models of patient outcomes, and present the information to physicians through intuitive visualizations. By personalizing each patient's treatment using advanced machine learning methods, we help physicians make smarter, more confident decisions in less time.

About the role:

In this role, you will be responsible for providing direction for new product offerings. After developing a thorough understanding of our current products and services, you will work alongside Oncora leadership to create clear, organized product roadmaps through customer interviews, needs finding processes, and demos. This role integrates both internal and external priorities and responsibilities. You must be able to take high level ideas and translate them into functional product mockups with clear specifications and capabilities. You should understand how software integrates within a variety of healthcare disciplines, and how to best interface with healthcare systems in a streamlined manner. We’re looking for candidates who are highly self-motivated, are passionate about improving healthcare, and excel at finding solutions to complex problems with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop product roadmaps in collaboration with leadership
  • Perform customer interviews, needs finding exercises, and product demos
  • Create customer personas based on research and interviews
  • Identify customer pain points across multiple healthcare disciplines (oncology, insurance, administration)
  • Translate high level product ideas into detailed specifications and engineering documents
  • Create high fidelity product mockups
  • Integrate business strategy principles with product development efforts

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in an engineering or other technical field
  • Work experience in a fast-paced setting (startup experience preferred)
  • Previous work as a full-stack developer could be a plus
  • 2-6 years experience in a product management role (you’ve ideally taken a product from idea to reality)
  • Experience in healthcare is a plus
  • Experience in a client facing role is a plus
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
