Customer Solutions Manager

Oncora Medical is a fast-growing, venture-backed healthtech startup in Philadelphia, PA. We are building software that is revolutionizing the way doctors treat cancer with radiation. Our product is a data-focused clinical decision support system for radiation oncologists. We integrate data from existing clinical software tools, train predictive models of patient outcomes, and present the information to physicians through intuitive visualizations. By personalizing each patient's treatment using advanced machine learning methods, we help physicians make smarter, more confident decisions in less time.

About the role:

In this role, you will deeply understand Oncora’s product offerings and be responsible for their successful implementation at client sites. This role is client-facing: you will represent Oncora to  individual customers and you will serve as their main point of contact. You will work with Oncora Engineering and clients to develop custom integrations with different health data sources. You must be an expert technical communicator who can understand and explain our products and services in a clear, organized, and consistent manner. We’re looking for candidates who are highly self-motivated, are passionate about improving healthcare, and excel at finding solutions to complex problems with minimal direction.

Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert on all of Oncora’s offered services 
  • Work with health systems to install Oncora products on site
  • Be the main point of contact for clients both during and after the installation process
  • Create and continually improve installation processes
  • Work closely with customers  to identify needs and pain points
  • Host customer meetings and prepare/update  project plans
  • Direct a small team of specialized engineers in work related to customer implementation
  • Build custom integrations with healthcare  data sources  like Electronic Medical Records, Oncology Information Systems, Treatment Planning Systems, etc.
  • Own the entire customer installation process

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in an engineering or technical field
  • 4-8 years of work experience (preferably in a customer-facing healthcare IT role)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Familiarity with HL7 and DICOM interoperability standards
  • Familiarity with ICD9/10, CPT, HCPCS, and other healthcare code sets
  • Experience working with or using EMR systems 
  • Experience installing products at health system clients
